Fine bone china mug/Orkney puffins

Beautiful fine tall bone china mug printed with a design by Orkney artist Jane Glue.

'Tammie norrie' is the Orcadian name for a puffin! These cute we birds are only 28cm in height. In this watercolour image my 'tammie norries' are sitting amongst a bed of wildflowers.I really like the soft colours in this watercolour image, especially in the background. Puffins are one of my favourite subjects and these were at Burrian castle in Westray. This mug image is over printed with the words, 'Orkney puffins' 

Straight sided, no lip. Non porous surface. Thinner than porcelain. Size 105mm height X 75mm diameter. Comes in a kraft box with lid. Care instructions hand wash only.
