Electricity, Heating, bedding and towels are provided within the price. Cleaning materials are supplied in the accommodation. Tea,coffee,milk and bread are also supplied on arrival.

Shorelines Accommodation is a two bedroomed cottage situated at the sea end of Jane Glue's gallery in Finstown. The house consists of one twin bedroom, one double bedroom with en-suite wet room, a separate bathroom with bath and shower and a kitchen/living area with glass end overlooking the sea.

From the glass end you walk out on to a private walled garden area with decking  and outside seating provided.

There is private parking for one car and extra parking nearby if need be.

The kitchen is supplied with a double electric oven/grill, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher.

There is a digital TV with freeview plus a DVD player and CD player, a docking station for your iPod or iPhone. in the sitting room area. A hairdryer a is also provided as well as dressing gowns.

Under floor heating is fitted throughout. All rooms are decorated in a modern style combined with a bit of Jane’s artistic décor!

The living area has open beams and fitted lighting.

Wireless broadband connection is also available for those with a laptop.

Finstown is a village of around 1000 people, 6 miles from the main town of Kirkwall and 7 miles from the town of Stromness. The village has a pub, a local grocer/off licence, garage and post office. There are various walks around the surrounding area and it is in a central location for visiting World Heritage sites such as The Ring of Brodgar and Skara Brae Neolithic village.

December 12th, this seal was enjoying a tasty 'large' snack of salmon right outside the walled garden this morning.
